The light in a child’s eyes when she take home a Menorah she just made, the elation of a Jewish family enjoying its first Chanukah celebration, and the helping hand in times of need. Jewish Silver Lake (Chabad) is creating a community where every Jew in the Silver Lake fits right in. We are dedicated to serving you in any way we can—now we’re asking for your support to help us continue bringing Jewish life to Silver Lake!

How does a Match Campaign work?

Running an operation like Jewish Silver requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. Rather than charging membership fees or event prices—which could alienate some, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve. To that end, two generous donors, along with a group of out-of-town supporters, have come forward with a proposal to help Jewish Silver Lake thrive this year. Together they will donate half of our fundraising goals provided that it is matched by an equal donation from you—our community and friends.
